I want to switch to natural deodorant. Anything I should know?
Congratulations and way to take charge of your health! Yes, there are a few things you should know about making the switch. For some people, making a switch to a chemical free deodorant of any kind can inspire a pit detox phase (which even just sounds gross..). Detox isn't particularly enjoyable no matter what the occasion, and pit detox is no different. You may notice an increase in body odor and that you are sweating more in the first few weeks after making the switch. Some things you can do to combat this? Drink more water, clean up your diet (things we should be doing anyhow), and apply some apple cider vinegar to your pits after you shower, allowing it to dry completely, then apply our deodorant.
